You can never go wrong with a protein ball recipe. It’s kind of like a ‘kitchen sink’ recipe where you just throw ingredients you have on hand, add some flavor and mix it into some balls.
Plus, it’s a really simple way to add some nutrients do your diet like omega 3-s with chia seeds or extra protein with protein powder. Many women struggle to get enough protein so this is a great go to snack.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 c of quick oats
1 1/2 c almond butter
1/2 c of collagen protein powder
1/4 c of honey
1/2 c of choc chip for chocolate lovers (I am not one so I don’t always add)
2 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tsp of vanilla extract
pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
If you want to be professional, mix dry ingrients first then add honey & vanilla extract.
If you want to be free like me, add however the heck you want and mix with a wooden spoon. Oh you should mix it in a medium size bowl.
Refrigerate and eat within 4-5 days. You don’t want to eat bad balls.
